Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown Belt
Wil Loushin is a high level competitor and head coach for the VBJJ competition team. He is currently a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Scott Oates.
Wil is a retired United States Marine Infantryman and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program. Throughout his career he instructed Marines and Sailors in BJJ, MMA, Weapons Retention and Self Defense. Wil competes at the Local, National and International level and has won numerous golds medals while competing in the advanced and expert divisions. Including multiple Gold Medals at the North American Grapplers Association World Championship, Newbreed National Championships, and US Grappling. As a brown belt he competed in and won super fights at Submission Hunter Pro and Toro Cup.
Wil was also a Double Bronze Medalist in the IBJJF Pan American Championships in 2018.
Wil has coached three Kids World Champions, two Silver Medalists at the World Championships. His Kids team has also placed either first or second in the last three years at the Newbreed Ultimate Challenge. Including a team Silver Medal at the 2018 Newbreed Northeastern National Championships.
